The University of Tennessee accepts transfer credit of similar content from accredited institutions. The Office of the University Registrar is responsible for determining course transfer equivalencies.
The Tennessee Transfer Pathway was established to facilitate transferring from Tennessee's public community colleges to UT. Students who complete a Tennessee Transfer Pathway will be given priority consideration for admission. However, admission is not guaranteed; the process is still competitive and still holistic.
