Orientation sessions for fall-entry transfer and adult students are one-day programs held in April, June, and July of each year.
The orientation registration system is now open.
You must confirm your enrollment by paying the $250 enrollment deposit prior to registering for orientation.

The cost for fall-entry transfer orientation is $50 for students and $20 for family members and guests. Costs include all orientation programming, materials, and lunch on campus for students and guests.
There will be a $10 fee charged if you need to change your registration date or the number of guests you have attending. Refund requests must be made in writing at least ten working days prior to your confirmed orientation session. Please note that a $10 processing fee will be subtracted from your refund amount. Orientation check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. The one-day program lasts until 5:00 p.m.
7:30 a.m. – Check-in and registration (Neyland Stadium, Gate 15)
8:15 a.m. – Welcome and sessions begin
11:45 a.m. – Lunch (included in student and guest fees)
12:30 p.m. – Additional orientation sessions
5:00 p.m. – Academic advising and course registration concludes

Are you interested in participating in a more in-depth orientation? Register for the overnight orientation session to spend some additional time on campus, stay overnight in a residence hall, and experience what it’s like to be a Tennessee Vol.
This overnight session will include an additional small group meeting led by upperclassmen, dinner on campus, and more information on how to get involved on campus. By attending, you can expect to leave with newly formed relationships with other incoming transfer students, upper-division students, and staff on campus. Please plan to bring a pillow, blanket, washcloth, towel, and bed sheets (full-size bed).
The student cost to attend overnight orientation is $75 and includes one night’s stay in an on-campus residence hall, dinner on day 1, lunch on day 2, and orientation materials. The guest cost is $25, which includes dinner on day 1, lunch on day 2, and orientation materials. The family and guest overnight housing fee is $33 per guest for a shared room or $40 for a private room. The additional cost is payable when registering for orientation online.
