Honors & Scholars Programs
The Chancellor’s Honors Program annually admits transfer students. Students admitted via transfer admission must meet the same program requirements as their peers accepted as first-year students.
To apply for the Chancellor’s Honors Program, transfer students must be accepted to UT and submit an honors application for review. You do not have to be accepted to the university before you submit your honors application.
Transfer students must submit an application by the following deadlines:
- after August 1 and before December 15 if planning to transfer to UT in the spring
- after January 1 and before May 15 if transferring to UT in the fall
When selecting transfer students for membership in the Chancellor’s Honors Program, consideration will be given to the student’s previous academic work and ability to complete the program’s requirements.
Detailed information and the honors application are located on the Honors and Scholars Programs website.
