The cost of attending UT is based on whether you are a Tennessee resident or an out-of-state student.
Initial residency classification is determined by the admissions staff from information submitted on your application for admission. Undergraduate students who would like their residency classification reconsidered may submit an appeal to the Registrar’s Office.
